Chris has been wakeboarding for just over 8 years. He grew up on the lake where he was taught how to water ski by his mom when he was 8
years old. He and his family spent endless hours on the lake leaving a wake wherever they went. By the time he reached high school he
thought that nothing could ever top his passion for water skiing. Little did he know his Junior year he would be introduced to the sport of
wakeboarding. Chris has been hooked ever since. Unfortunately, when he started, it was a struggle to find people to ride with, gear to ride on
and boats to be pulled behind. These obstacles have fueled the obsession that has consumed the last 5 years of his life.
Determined to make wakeboarding much more accessible to others sharing his love for the sport, Chris set out to create a community of
riders in the Knoxville area that he could teach, learn from, and ride with.....thus the start of KnoxWake.com. Knox Wake has had an extremely
positive response in its first year of exposing many new faces to the sport of wakeboarding as well as all that the Knoxville area has to offer
such as the lakes, events, riders, board shops, boat dealers, boat manufactures, clubs, etc.

12+ years experience driving a boat
USA Water Ski certified trained driver
USA Water Ski certified safety coordinator
Tennessee Boaters Education/Safety Certified # 1736
Certified in standard first aid by the American Red Cross
Certified in adult, child, and infant CPR by the American Red Cross
4 years as a Liquid Force, Jet Pilot and Straight Line Regional Rider
8 years wakeboarding experience with 4 years working wakeboard demos,
clinics, shop lessons and driver/safety person at Eskimo Escapades
